The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Budd connects with a good right hand that stumbles Marquez. Marquez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Budd misses with a jab, cross combination.
Budd moves into the clinch successfully.
Marquez tries to break the clinch but Budd is controlling the position.
Marquez tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Budd avoids it.
Marquez really is a fat lump.
Budd lands a right hand.
Budd lands a left hand.
Budd lands with a light punch inside.
Marquez wants to break free but Budd has control.
Budd lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Marquez backwards.
Marquez is rocked!
Budd throws a big uppercut that drops Marquez! More strikes from Budd and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Marquez lies dazed against the cage as Budd celebrates with his cornermen!

A less than humble Bubba Budd misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
