The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagdad fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vinicius avoids it really well and circles away.

Bagdad gets caught napping as Vinicius dives in and scores a takedown. Bagdad manages to retain guard.
Vinicius throws a big right hand that misses.
Bagdad is trying to hold Vinicius in close to prevent damage but Vinicius has managed to pass into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vinicius wants to stand up but Bagdad is controlling the position.

Bagdad wants to improve his position but Vinicius is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bagdad has a hand on Vinicius's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Vinicius takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Vinicius prevents Bagdad from getting the reversal.
Bagdad is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

BOOM! Vinicius connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Vinicius has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bagdad wants to hold on but Vinicius pushes him away.
