The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mother shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hageman lands with a kick to the temple. Mother shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Sloppy strikes from Mother. Those never looked like landing.
Hageman throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Hageman forces Mother back against the cage and clinches.

I was talking to Mother's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Hageman stops a takedown attempt from Mother.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Hageman.
It looks like Fuckya Mother has been cut.
Hageman scores with a hook to the body.
Mother is breathing heavily.
Hageman working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Hageman throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mother.

Hageman connects with a solid leg kick.
Mother shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hageman counters with a right hand to the body.
Mother takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hageman connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mother. Mother circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's one minute gone in the round.
That kick from Hageman tenderised Mother's leg. Mother is trying to keep his angry face on.
Mother with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hageman counters with a flying knee. Nice.

Good leg kick by Hageman there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Oh Mother is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hageman drives through and clinches with Mother against the cage.
Mother seems to have got his legs back now.
Hageman lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
