PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bastyn Dall (ranked 509 p4p, 55 weight class) and Li Kong Ho (ranked 935 p4p, 99 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by Beast. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 20 - 3, fighting out of New York, Bastyn Dall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Li Kong Ho!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Dall takes one on the button.
Dall misses with a left hand
and Ho counters with a stiff right hand.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dall tries a body shot but Ho blocks it.
Ho blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Ho blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Dall has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ho regains guard immediately.
Ho is adopting a defensive guard.
Dall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ho swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dall throws an elbow that misses. Ho uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dall's guard. Nice move by Ho!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dall is looking for a triangle but Ho pushes his legs off easily.

Dall has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ho should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dall has tightened it up now! Ho should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

A less than humble Bastyn Dall misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
