The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Macarenco tries to keep at a distance but James has taken the fight into the clinch.
James is working for takedown but Macarenco is calmly controlling the position for now.
James tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Macarenco wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Macarenco drops James with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but James looks back up at him and smiles so Macarenco waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Logan James has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Macarenco ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away.

James bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Macarenco is trying to buck James off.
James trying to control the action but Macarenco is working from the bottom.
Macarenco tries to escape but James is in control.

James stands up.

James is rocked!
James ducks into an uppercut from Macarenco and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
