The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Subb tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cunningham defends well and Subb ends up having to push Cunningham into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Cunningham is looking to counter the offense by Subb and move into the clinch.
Cunningham scores with a one two! Subb had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Subb tries for a takedown but Cunningham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cunningham tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Subb manages to circle out of the way.

Cunningham escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Subb closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cunningham tries to improve position but can't.
Cunningham might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Subb is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cunningham knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
