Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Huey Gregory (ranked 7201 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anub Ben Aiss (ranked 7625 p4p, 0 weight class). Anub Ben Aiss is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Huey Gregory!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Anub Ben Aiss!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gregory takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ben Aiss looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ben Aiss tries to clinch up but Gregory circles away and keeps his distance.
Ben Aiss shoots for a double leg takedown but Gregory sprawls well. He's pushed Ben Aiss's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gregory keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
As Ben Aiss tries to get set, Gregory tries to push him back and clinch up but Ben Aiss manages to avoid the attempt.
Ben Aiss gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gregory to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gregory wants to control from the top but Ben Aiss keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gregory is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gregory drops back looking for a leg! Ben Aiss is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ben Aiss manages to kick Gregory off! Gregory jumps back into Ben Aiss's guard.
Gregory trying to control but Ben Aiss is working from the bottom.
Gregory pushes down on Ben Aiss's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gregory seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ben Aiss does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gregory is really struggling to control Ben Aiss but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Ben Aiss is defending against the submission attempts here by Gregory.
Gregory is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Ben Aiss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gregory. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ben Aiss is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Gregory jumps into side control!

Gregory thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Gregory working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Gregory tries for a kimura but Ben Aiss is defending well.

Gregory is putting a hurting on Ben Aiss here, landing some big shots from side control.
Gregory wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ben Aiss keeps working.
Gregory tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gregory has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Gregory fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ben Aiss to the ground. Gregory is now in Ben Aiss's guard.
Ben Aiss is wriggling around but Gregory manages to pass to half guard.

Ben Aiss is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Gregory locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Ben Aiss is forced to tap!
