Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Minhyuk Brown (ranked 2735 p4p, 297 weight class) and John Gibson (ranked 4148 p4p, 417 weight class). Brown comes to the ring accompanied by This is what I came for Calvin Harris. Gibson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blac Youngsta - I Got You feat. Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Gibson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brown's head.
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Gibson tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Gibson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Brown fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gibson manages to avoid it.
Gibson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No luck for Brown with that takedown attempt.
Gibson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Gibson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Brown throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gibson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brown is in Gibson's guard.

Brown is working Gibson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gibson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brown is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Jeez, Minhyuk Brown's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Brown looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Horrible takedown attempt by Brown or perhaps it was just good defense by Gibson, which made it look bad.

A relieved looking John Gibson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Minhyuk Brown was interviewed post fight and said 'I will come back as a better fighter and learn from this!!'.
