The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Branch moves into the clinch.
Hardini blocks an uppercut.

Hardini is trying to trip Branch. He has hold of a leg but Branch is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hardini persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Hardini avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hardini trying to control the position from guard on top but Branch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hardini stands up from Branch's guard - Hardini perhaps looking for a knockout.

Hardini instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Branch successfully pulls guard.

Hardini gets to his feet - Branch follows without any prompting.

Hardini shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Branch's guard.

Branch looking for a sweep. Not yet Branch, not yet.
Hardini trying to control the position from guard on top but Branch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Branch bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hardini's guard.

Hardini is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hardini avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Hardini has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Branch has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Hardini breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hardini closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Branch did well to prevent Hardini getting side control.

Branch wants to get back to his feet.
Branch desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Branch wants to improve his position but Hardini is controlling well.

Hardini decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Hardini lands a jab to Branch's midsection.

Branch rushes Hardini and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hardini prevents a takedown attempt there.
Branch is breathing heavily.

Hardini breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hardini closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hardini makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Branch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hardini is pressed up against the cage. Branch has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hardini down to the mat. Hardini avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Hardini controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Branch wants to sweep here but Hardini controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardini is stalling in the full guard.

Hardini stands and steps away. Branch gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Branch closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hardini counters with a left and a right... And another left! Branch is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
