Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dierk Ueli (ranked 3995 p4p, 524 weight class) and John Jorgenson (ranked 4800 p4p, 581 weight class). John Jorgenson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ueli.
Jorgenson throws out a counter right but Ueli avoids it with no problem.

Ueli feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jorgenson is looking to stand back up but Ueli counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jorgenson.

Ueli is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ueli shoots for a takedown but Jorgenson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ueli tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jorgenson defends well and Ueli ends up having to push Jorgenson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dierk Ueli. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ueli shoots and misses
and Jorgenson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Dierk Ueli has been cut.
Jorgenson slaps away a takedown attempt from Ueli, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Jorgenson drops Ueli with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ueli looks back up at him and smiles so Jorgenson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Horrible takedown attempt by Ueli or perhaps it was just good defense by Jorgenson, which made it look bad.
Ueli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jorgenson tries to avoid it but Ueli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jorgenson to the ground. Jorgenson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jorgenson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ueli was well out of range. Poor timing from Jorgenson.
Ueli fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Jorgenson cracks Ueli with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ueli looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jorgenson finish him?

Ueli is rocked!

Ueli on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Oh Ueli is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ueli is breathing heavily.
Jorgenson cracks Ueli with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Ueli falls to his knees and Jorgenson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Jorgenson!
