Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ian Davis (ranked 5843 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lex Reaper (ranked 6050 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis wants to land a leg kick but Reaper is out of range.

Reaper gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Davis looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Reaper has picked Davis up and slammed him! Davis can't keep hold of the triangle and Reaper manages to pass to side control!

Reaper seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Davis enables Reaper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Davis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
