Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed Ali (ranked 4005 p4p, 436 weight class) and Axel Blade (ranked 4971 p4p, 505 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mohammed Ali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Axel Blade!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Ali misses the target.
Ali dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blade. That did some damage!
Ali throws a right hand that Blade ducks under and follows up with a left that Blade also avoids with ease.
Ali lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Mohammed Ali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blade misses with a takedown attempt - Ali sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ali misses with the combination.
Ali really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ali throws out a leg kick but Blade moves out of range and Ali only half commits.
Blade shoots in for a double leg but Ali sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Blade moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Blade shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ali as he avoids it easily.
Mohammed Ali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Axel Blade.
Blade looks winded!
Ali lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blade circles away quickly and effectively.
Blade lands with an overhand left.
Ali lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Ali.
This has been an exciting period of action!
No luck for Blade with that takedown attempt.

Ali scores with a one two! Blade had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Ali lands a front kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ali.
Ali moves into range and clinches up with Blade.
Blade managing to block the knees to the body from Ali.
Ali pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ali throws a right hand that Blade ducks under and follows up with a left that Blade also avoids with ease.
Blade is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ali looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ali sets himself, and Blade steps forward looking for the clinch! Ali avoids it this time.
Ali feints and then cracks Blade's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Blade down.
Blade tries for a takedown but Ali sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ali lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Blade is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Ali will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ali scores with a jab. Blade acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Ali throws a right and a left that both miss.
Blade tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Blade throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Good standup being displayed there by Ali as he connects with a hook.

Ali's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ali throws a series of punches but Blade avoids them all with ease.
Blade misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice uppercut lands for Ali. That snapped Blade's head back.
Ali lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Blade is rocked!
Ali throws a one two combo.
Blade is still on wobbly legs! Can Ali finish him?
Ali plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Blade swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Blade face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mohammed Ali!
A determined Mohammed Ali didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
