The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Patterson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Patterson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Patterson has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Chambers!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Patterson.
Patterson darts in looking for a takedown but Chambers gets double underhooks and turns Patterson into the cage.

Patterson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chambers's waist but Chambers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Patterson off to one side.

Patterson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
