Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Vazzappo (ranked 5034 p4p, 478 weight class) and Rado Boy (ranked 6230 p4p, 543 weight class). Rado Boy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy closes the distance and clinches up with Vazzappo, looking for a takedown. Boy pushes Vazzappo against the cage but Vazzappo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vazzappo tries to bum rush Boy with a series of wild strikes but Boy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Boy misses with a double jab.
Vazzappo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Boy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Boy has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Vazzappo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Vazzappo has closed the distance and engaged Boy in a clinch.
Vazzappo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Boy or not.
Vazzappo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Boy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No joy there for Vazzappo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Boy tries to keep at a distance but Vazzappo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Boy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vazzappo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Vazzappo rushes Boy and presses him up against the cage.
Vazzappo dodges an elbow strike from Boy.
Boy is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vazzappo to keep the fight standing.
Vazzappo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tony Vazzappo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rado Boy.

Boy dives in and grabs Vazzappo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vazzappo pushes down on Boy's head and hops out.
Vazzappo looks to land a combination but Boy avoids it well.

Boy gets tackled into the cage by Vazzappo. Vazzappo maintains the clinch.
Vazzappo digs a right hand into Boy's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Boy's gas tank.
Boy looks winded!

Vazzappo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boy shoots in and drives through. Vazzappo sprawls well.
Tony Vazzappo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooh!!! Vazzappo has knocked Boy down with a huge combo! Vazzappo steps away and waves a wobbly Boy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Vazzappo lands a left and a right that send Boy crashing to the mat, dazed. Vazzappo thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Boy walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Vazzappo swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
