Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rush Dixon (ranked 6774 p4p, 565 weight class) and Mr Four (ranked 5477 p4p, 539 weight class). The key to victory for Rush Dixon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rush Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mr Four!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Four manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Four showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dixon.
Rush Dixon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dixon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Four did well to prevent Dixon getting side control.
Dixon is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Dixon controlling the action here.
Four has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dixon is working away from the top position though.
Four wants to improve his position but Dixon is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dixon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Four controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Four wants to pass the guard but Dixon is keeping the position.
Four is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dixon seems keen to control Four's posture.

Four thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rush Dixon dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Four darts in looking for a takedown but Dixon gets double underhooks and turns Four into the cage.
It looked like Dixon wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Dixon tries to keep at a distance but Four has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rush Dixon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Four.

Dixon distracts Four with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Four is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Dixon rolls with it to try and escape but Four cranks on the arm and Dixon is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mr Four!
