Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Beau (ranked 25333 p4p, 549 weight class) and Mac Sullivan (ranked 6164 p4p, 462 weight class). Joe Beau could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mac Sullivan's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sullivan has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Sullivan is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Beau is looking for a takedown.
Sullivan prevents the takedown attempt.
Sullivan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sullivan drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sullivan stands up and waves to Beau to follow him.
Beau clinches up against the cage.

Sullivan has clasped his hands together around Beau's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sullivan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Sullivan staying calm.
Beau on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Beau tries to get out of the position.
Sullivan looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Sullivan just content to control the position.
Sullivan stands up.
Sullivan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sullivan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Beau trying to hold on to Sullivan's head to control him but Sullivan postures up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Beau darts in looking for a takedown but Sullivan gets double underhooks and turns Beau into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Beau. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sullivan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Beau counters with a nice uppercut.
Beau throws a sloppy head kick and Sullivan moves out of range easily.
Sullivan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Beau is breathing heavily.
Sullivan controlling the action here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mac Sullivan dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Sullivan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mac Sullivan has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sullivan postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Beau to stand up.
Beau wants to clinch up but Sullivan keeps it at a distance.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sullivan! But no joy.
Beau closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sullivan sneaks out the side door and pushes Beau away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sullivan drives through with a takedown into Beau's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Sullivan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Sullivan drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Beau dives on top into guard.
Sullivan is pulling down on Beau's head to control his posture.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Beau wants to control from the top but Sullivan keeps moving.

Beau tries to free his leg and advance position but Sullivan is retaining full guard.
Beau being controlled here momentarily.
Sullivan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sullivan is looking to cinch up a triangle. Beau throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sullivan's body to avoid the submission. Sullivan has instead reached around Beau's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sullivan arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
