Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Huncho Jack (ranked 5124 p4p, 471 weight class) and Rado Boy (ranked 5476 p4p, 498 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Huncho Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rado Boy!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jack throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Boy.
No luck for Boy with that takedown attempt.
Boy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Boy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jack.
Jack throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Left hook, right uppercut from Jack.
Jack swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Boy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jack.
Boy is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Boy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jack is refusing to be controlled, as Boy sits in half guard.

Jack has one foot on Boy's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Boy clinches.
Jack can't break the clinch.
Boy is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Boy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jack lands a jab to the nose.
Jack shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Boy eats them both and turns towards Jack to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jack but Jack pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Huncho Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rado Boy.

and Jack counters with a two punch combo.

and Jack connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Jack shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Boy eats them both and turns towards Jack to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Jack drops Boy with a beautiful combination! Boy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jack is looking for the KO!

Boy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jack swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jack appears to be looking for a big counter.
Boy is still on wobbly legs! Can Jack finish him?
Boy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jack defends it nicely.
Boy seems to have recovered his senses.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jack misses with a series of wild punches.
Jack throws a series of punches but Boy avoids them all with ease.
Jack avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boy misses with the combination.
Jack throws a big counter combination but Boy scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Jack throws a one two combo.
Jack connects with a right hand. Boy shakes it off.
Jack lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jack.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Huncho Jack dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Jack throws a right and a left that Boy avoids nicely.
Jack pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Boy back to the cage. Jack follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Boy dives in for a single leg takedown but Jack sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jack is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Boy can do to turn this around?
Jack throws a right hand that Boy ducks under and follows up with a left that Boy also avoids with ease.
Boy swings for the body but Jack moves out of range.
As Boy looks to move away, Jack throws a big counter combo but Boy just gets out of the way.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Boy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jack sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boy somewhat.
Jack went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Boy is breathing heavily.

and Boy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Jack counters with a three punch combo that has Boy backing up. Boy nods at Jack to acknowledge the strikes.
Jack lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jack.
Jack moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Jack tries to bum rush Boy with a series of wild strikes but Boy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jack fails to land with a series of punches.
Jack cracks a nice hook into Boy's ribs.
Jack jabs Boy to the body, keeping him at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Boy tries for a takedown but Jack sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Jack lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jack.
Boy has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Boy tries to clinch but Jack is having none of it.

and Jack cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jack's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jack duly obliges.
Jack will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Jack lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boy circles away quickly and effectively.
Boy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boy throws a lazy head kick
and Jack counters with a series of strikes. Boy will be more careful next time no doubt.
Boy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Boy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jack sprawls well. Jack wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boy gets slowly back to his feet.

Jack lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Jack connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Boy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jack, pushing him back against the cage.
Jack is trying to break free.
Boy goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jack prevents it.
Boy prevents Jack from breaking the clinch.
Jack wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Boy has him pressed against the cage.
Jack has had enough of the clinch but Boy keeps him there for the moment.
Jack wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Boy is trying to pull guard but Jack turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Huncho Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rado Boy.

Boy tries to throw a body punch but Jack avoids it by throwing Boy back against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Jack's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Jack is stalling in the full guard.
Boy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jack is one step ahead there.
Boy keeps trying to improve his position.
Jack throws a strike but Boy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Boy trying to control but Jack is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jack holds on and takes a little breather.
Jack wants to stand up but Boy is controlling him.
Boy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Jack looking for a sweep. Not yet Jack, not yet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Boy controlling from the top position.
Rado Boy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Huncho Jack is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Boy has gone for a leg lock! Jack slips out almost immediately though and dives into Boy's guard.


And that's the end of the fight!
Huncho Jack showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jack, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Huncho Jack was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
