Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Maximo Steele has been cut.
Smith misses with an attempted mid kick.

Smith gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Steele takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Smith breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith throws a body punch but Steele moves out of range.
Steele looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith moves into range and connects with a jab.

Steele is rocked!
Steele takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oh Steele is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Steele gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Smith gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Steele is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
