Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luis Perez Saavedra (ranked 5859 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Sol (ranked 4130 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sol moves to clinch but Saavedra breaks away
and Saavedra counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Saavedra closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Saavedra lands in his opponent's guard.
Saavedra is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Sol uses the cage to get back to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Luis Perez Saavedra will probably get the nod.

Saavedra seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sol for as long as he can get away with.

Saavedra drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Saavedra jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
