PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Reco Penn (ranked 740 p4p, 91 weight class) and Kosken Jorma (ranked 686 p4p, 82 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jorma bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Penn's head backwards.

Jorma throws a lazy right hand but Penn sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jorma fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Penn on the side of the head.

Jorma swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A telegraphed right hand from Penn misses the target.
Penn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Penn's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jorma connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Penn scrambles back to his feet.
Penn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Penn wants it to stay on the feet.
