Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rupeni Veitayaki (ranked 4770 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Mythos (ranked 4353 p4p, 0 weight class). Veitayaki comes to the cage accompanied by The Cibi . Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veitayaki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Veitayaki lands a high kick!
Veitayaki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mythos circles away quickly and effectively.
Mythos stuns Veitayaki with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Veitayaki connects with a body shot that sends Mythos's belly button to the back.

It seemed like Mythos was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Mythos has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
