Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Evgenii Mamchenko (ranked 1232 p4p, 149 weight class) and Olaf Frost (ranked 1371 p4p, 171 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Evgenii Mamchenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Olaf Frost!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mamchenko tries to break the clinch but Frost is controlling the position.
Mamchenko has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Mamchenko has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Frost clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Frost trying to get back to his feet but Mamchenko is in full control for now.
Mamchenko is working the ground and pound. Can Frost escape?
Mamchenko is punishing Frost with strikes - can he finish him?!

Mamchenko is looking for the choke from the back position but Frost is controlling his hands well.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mamchenko has the hooks in. Frost is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Frost is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Mamchenko lands a shot to the head.
Mamchenko has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Frost wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mamchenko is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Frost up.
Mamchenko is looking to control Frost but Frost is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Mamchenko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Frost lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Frost bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mamchenko's head backwards.
Frost lands with a nice combination. Mamchenko backs away looking to recover.
Frost lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Mamchenko lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Frost at a distance.
Mamchenko throws a nice looking combination but Frost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A low kick from Frost is predictable there
and Mamchenko counters with a nice uppercut.

Frost moves into the clinch.
Frost fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Frost tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Frost is leaning against Mamchenko and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Mamchenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mamchenko gets tackled into the cage by Frost. Frost maintains the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mamchenko blocks a body shot from Frost.
Mamchenko wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Frost pushes Mamchenko back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Mamchenko tries to circle away but Frost has him pinned against the cage.
Frost's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Frost lands a left hand.

Mamchenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Frost throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mamchenko throws a shot from downtown. Frost moves away and avoids it.
Mamchenko looks to land a right hand but Frost moved out of range.
Frost unleashes a big counter combination but Mamchenko bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Frost misses with the combination.
Frost misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Olaf Frost will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Mamchenko looks to throw the jab but Frost is out of range.
Mamchenko closes this distance looking for a takedown but Frost circles away.
Mamchenko throws a right hand that misses
and Frost counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mamchenko's knee momentarily.
Frost misses with a combination
and Mamchenko counters with a right hand to the body.
Mamchenko connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mamchenko dives in for a single leg takedown but Frost sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Mamchenko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Frost is just riding it out for now. Mamchenko eventually gives up the hold.

Frost pushes Mamchenko off looking to stand but Mamchenko dives back in and keeps control.
Mamchenko is nestled in close to Frost, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Frost is trying to stand up here but Mamchenko is controlling him well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mamchenko's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Mamchenko cracks Frost with a solid left hand.
Mamchenko won't allow Frost to get back to his feet.

Mamchenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frost has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mamchenko has managed to get both his arms back between Frost's legs - danger averted.

Frost tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mamchenko swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mamchenko cracks Frost with an uppercut from hell and Frost crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Mamchenko's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mamchenko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Frost is trying to stall.
Mamchenko blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Mamchenko lands with a short shot to the head.
Frost lands a nice uppercut.

Mamchenko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Frost ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mamchenko moves away.
An attempted straight right counter from Mamchenko misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck for Mamchenko with that takedown attempt.

Mamchenko ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mamchenko no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
