Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Kinney (ranked 5847 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khatib Nurmagomedow (ranked 3482 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gordon Kinney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Khatib Nurmagomedow!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Darius Henderson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinney has managed to clinch.
Kinney jumps into guard, dragging Nurmagomedow to the mat.
Kinney working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nurmagomedow doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nurmagomedow manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Nurmagomedow not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Nurmagomedow postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nurmagomedow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kinney swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nurmagomedow sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Kinney is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kinney working for a triangle but Nurmagomedow defends it easily.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nurmagomedow gets the takedown into side control.
Kinney tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Nurmagomedow connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nurmagomedow takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Nurmagomedow lands a couple of good shots and Kinney has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Kinney has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Nurmagomedow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nurmagomedow keeps control of the position easily here as Kinney tries to buck him off.
Nurmagomedow looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kinney avoids the strikes from Nurmagomedow.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nurmagomedow is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Kinney is trying to defend against the choke here but Nurmagomedow has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Nurmagomedow Tightens the hold and Kinney taps out furiously! Nurmagomedow displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
