Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arnoldo Thomas (ranked 24879 p4p, 0 weight class) and Son Goku (ranked 5920 p4p, 0 weight class). Son Goku will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goku darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Thomas kicks Goku off and gets back to his feet.

Goku manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Thomas on his heels. He'll look to pass Thomas's guard now, I'm sure.

Thomas manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Goku is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Thomas fails to pull guard.
Goku misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Thomas.
Thomas tries to break free but Goku pushes him back against the cage.

Thomas has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Goku is trying to keep an underhook but Thomas manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Goku is trying to escape back to his feet but Thomas uses the scramble to pass into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goku tries to bench press Thomas off him but Thomas keeps the position.

Thomas has an Americana. Goku didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Thomas is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Thomas hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
