And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers throws a series of punches but Murray avoids them all with ease.
Rogers looks to land a right hand but Murray moved out of range.
Murray misses with a wild body shot.
Rogers scores with a nice right hand.
Murray ducks right into an uppercut from Rogers.
Murray thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rogers throws a series of strikes that have Murray backpedaling.
Murray lands with an uppercut that bounces Rogers off the cage and back into rage.


It looks like Jason Rogers has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Murray.
Rogers misses with an uppercut. Murray saw that one coming.
Rogers loads up on a big right hand but Murray slips the punch.
Rogers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice straight punches there by Murray. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Murray.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Murray lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Rogers sprawling to the canvas. Murray follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Rogers hang on?

Murray escapes and gets back to his feet.
Rogers seems to have recovered his senses.
Murray misses with a double jab
and Rogers makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Rogers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rogers passes to side control.

Rogers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Murray, who protects the arm well.

Rogers thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Murray is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rogers has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Rogers goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Murray has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rogers but great work by Murray.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Murray looking to control but Rogers is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rogers is squirming around, avoiding Murray's attempts to control the action.

Murray wants to control the pace but Rogers is squirming around nicely.
Rogers tries to reverse the position but Murray maintains control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Murray trying to control but Rogers is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Jason Rogers's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Rogers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Murray moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rogers tries to work over Murray's front leg with a kick but Murray checks it.
A telegraphed right hand from Rogers misses the target.
Rogers lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Rogers moves out of range of the strikes.
Cameron Murray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice uppercut lands for Rogers. That snapped Murray's head back.
Murray tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rogers was well out of range. Poor timing from Murray.

Rogers shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Rogers trying to mount his opponent but Murray defends it.
Rogers is trying to control the action in half guard but Murray is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Rogers is working for a kimura but Murray is defending it quite comfortably.

Murray gets back to full guard.

Rogers postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Murray is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rogers, into his guard.
Rogers is breathing heavily.
Rogers can't keep his opponent in guard - Murray advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Rogers wants to control but Murray is keeping busy.
Rogers tries to roll over but Murray keeps him under control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Murray takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Murray is looking to take a break and control but Rogers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rogers has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Murray is working away from the top position though.
Murray prevents Rogers from improving his position.
Murray looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Rogers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Rogers blocks a jab.

Murray digs a good body shot into Rogers's ribs.
Cameron Murray is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Murray falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rogers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cameron Murray is winning the standup battle so far.
Murray tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rogers was well out of range. Poor timing from Murray.
Murray walks into a left hand.
Rogers takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Rogers pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Murray swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cameron Murray is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fighters circle momentarily. Murray darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A jab from Murray misses.
Rogers takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rogers lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The fighters circling - Rogers throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rogers gets cracked there but stands up to it.


That has opened up Jason Rogers's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Murray throws a right and a left that both miss.
Murray jabs Rogers right on the nose. Rogers blinks but takes it well.
Rogers misses the jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Murray cracks Rogers with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rogers tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Murray pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rogers is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cameron Murray!
