Thorn misses with a kick to the body

and Zappa decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Thorn's guard.

Zappa drops back, looking for a kneebar! Thorn looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Thorn looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Thorn!

Thorn is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Zappa has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Thorn is looking to defend but Zappa has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Thorn! Zappa pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Thorn taps out and this one is all over!
