Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Fidel Sweet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenneth Robertson!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sweet enables Robertson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sweet manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Robertson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robertson is pushing down on Sweet's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sweet is fighting to maintain full guard but Robertson has managed to sneak the leg through.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sweet on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Sweet wants to improve his position but Robertson is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Robertson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Robertson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Robertson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sweet's head.
Robertson is controlling the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Kenneth Robertson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Robertson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sweet was covering up waiting for the punch and Robertson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Robertson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Robertson stays in close to Sweet's body and controls the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Robertson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Robertson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sweet was covering up waiting for the punch and Robertson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Robertson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Robertson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Robertson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sweet's half guard.

It looks like Fidel Sweet has been cut.
Robertson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Let's hope that Robertson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Robertson.

Sweet tries to lock up and control but Robertson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Robertson unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Sweet wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Robertson celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
