Nogueira's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, ZZ - No Way out. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Perereca looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Perereca has taken the fight to the clinch.

Perereca drags the fight down to the ground.
Perereca wants to stand but Nogueira is controlling the position.
Nogueira throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Perereca works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Nogueira has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nogueira won't allow Perereca to get back to his feet.
Perereca not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Perereca pulls Nogueira in close to prevent any damage.
Nogueira wants to control from the top but Perereca keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perereca avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Perereca misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Perereca rushes Nogueira and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Perereca has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Nogueira regains guard immediately.

Nogueira looking for a guillotine here but Perereca defends easily.

Nogueira working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Perereca doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Perereca manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Perereca gets to his feet. Nogueira looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Nogueira avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Perereca clinches up with Nogueira and pushes him back against the cage.
Perereca lands with a light punch inside.
Perereca with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Nogueira goes for a takedown attempt but Perereca pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nogueira looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Perereca is fending him off so far but Nogueira persists. Nope, Perereca circles away and we're back to standing.

Nogueira fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Perereca gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Perereca tightens his grip and picks Nogueira up, before dumping him to the ground. Nogueira manages to land in guard.
Perereca tries to free his leg and advance position but Nogueira is retaining full guard.
Perereca is looking to stand up but Nogueira won't let him.
Perereca looks gassed!

Perereca has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Nogueira to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Perereca is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Nogueira pulls down on the head and he's put Perereca to sleep! This one is all over!
