Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey Ward!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jelic changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Jelic fails to land with a series of punches.
Jelic connects with a right hand. Ward shakes it off.
Ward fails with the takedown
enabling Jelic to counter with a crisp jab.
Horrible takedown attempt by Ward or perhaps it was just good defense by Jelic, which made it look bad.
A punch combination from Jelic misses.
Mickey Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jelic was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Ivan Jelic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mickey Ward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jelic wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jelic gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Jelic throws a good cross that connects.
Ward drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Jelic looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Ward takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

A looping hook to the body misses from Jelic. Ward does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ward tries to clinch up
and Jelic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jelic, as that shot connected.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ward shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jelic as he jumps to the side.
Jelic drops Ward with a beautiful combination! Ward stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jelic is looking for the KO!
Ward is rocked!
Jelic flashes Ward a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Ward's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Ward crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Jelic punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
