Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Albashan Magomedrasulov (ranked 4639 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Gonzalez (ranked 8164 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez darts in looking for a takedown but Magomedrasulov gets double underhooks and turns Gonzalez into the cage.

Magomedrasulov closes the distance and clinches.
Magomedrasulov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gonzalez gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Magomedrasulov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Magomedrasulov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gonzalez for as long as he can get away with.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
