Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lord Seshomaru (ranked 2341 p4p, 245 weight class) and Drew Carvalho (ranked 2868 p4p, 297 weight class). Seshomaru comes to the cage accompanied by PRIDE NEVER DIES THEME SONG. Carvalho is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Wrecked-by PARKWAY DRIVE. The key to victory for Lord Seshomaru has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Carvalho has closed the distance and engaged Seshomaru in a clinch.

Carvalho has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Carvalho lands a big uppercut and Seshomaru crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Seshomaru looks OK. Carvalho waves Seshomaru back to his feet!

Oh Seshomaru is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Seshomaru breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Seshomaru seems to have got his legs back now.
Carvalho misses with a low kick.
Carvalho lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Jab, jab by Carvalho - just one landing.
Carvalho thows a leg kick but Seshomaru checks it
and Seshomaru counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Carvalho tries a head kick but it misses.
Seshomaru looks to land a right hand but Carvalho moved out of range.
Seshomaru takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Seshomaru seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Carvalho shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Seshomaru is backing up but Carvalho catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Seshomaru covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Carvalho Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Drew Carvalho!
