Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aldous Bungleford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenny Pavey!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bungleford uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pavey.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pavey.

Pavey gets caught flat footed, as Bungleford shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bungleford stops Pavey from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bungleford content to stall in guard here.
Bungleford postures up and lands a big shot to Pavey's brow.
Bungleford has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bungleford won't allow Pavey to get back to his feet.
Bungleford trying to control the position from guard on top but Pavey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pavey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bungleford. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pavey keeping moving, preventing Bungleford from controlling successfully.
Bungleford controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Pavey is working an open guard so Bungleford takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Bungleford showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pavey.

Bungleford wants to clinch up but Pavey keeps it at a distance.
Bungleford shoots in but Pavey avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bungleford fails to land with a series of punches.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Pavey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bungleford counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Pavey is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Bungleford shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Bungleford fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Pavey tries to hold on but Bungleford pushes him away.
Bungleford wants to control the pace but Pavey is squirming around nicely.
A nice elbow there by Bungleford.
Bungleford tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Pavey is looking to get to half guard.
Bungleford looking to control but Pavey is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Bungleford sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The referee warns Pavey that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bungleford avoids the attempt from Pavey to control.
Bungleford tries to control but Pavey wriggling away.
Bungleford controlling his opponent.
Bungleford looking to finish Pavey with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pavey!

Pavey squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aldous Bungleford dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Pavey tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bungleford comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pavey stuffs the takedown attempt from Bungleford. Bungleford gets slowly back to his feet.
Pavey misses with a wild combination.
Bungleford shoots for a double leg takedown but Pavey sprawls well. He's pushed Bungleford's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bungleford connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Bungleford closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Pavey has hold of Bungleford's hands but Bungleford slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bungleford content to control rather than advance.

Bungleford wants to control but Pavey is keeping him busy.
Bungleford slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Aldous Bungleford just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Bungleford changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pavey looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pavey wants to get back to his feet but Bungleford drags him back down.

Bungleford thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bungleford tries to score with some ground and pound. Pavey controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Pavey is trying to control Bungleford's posture but Bungleford avoids it.
Bungleford connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Pavey some visible discomfort.

Bungleford has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Pavey!

Bungleford is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Pavey is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Pavey flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bungleford anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Pavey and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bungleford slips an arm under Pavey chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bungleford has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bungleford is squeezing on Pavey like an anaconda would it's prey. Pavey fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Aldous Bungleford!
