Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denzel Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hart Nox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Douglas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hit Em Up. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Douglas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nox shoots in and drives through. Douglas sprawls well.
Nox takes a swing at Douglas's ribcage but misses.
Douglas on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Nox misses with a looping right.
Douglas is looking to clinch but Nox is avoiding it.
Douglas tries to clinch up but Nox circles away and keeps his distance.
Douglas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nox swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nox shoots in but Douglas avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Nox throws a right hand that Douglas ducks under and follows up with a left that Douglas also avoids with ease.

Nox has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Douglas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Denzel Douglas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hart Nox.

Nox has Douglas pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Douglas manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Douglas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

A nice inside leg kick there by Douglas. That's going to slow Nox down.

Douglas drops Nox with a big left hand and mounts him. Nox is in big trouble!

It looks like Hart Nox has been cut.
Douglas looking to control but Nox is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Nox is still in real trouble! Can Douglas finish him?

Douglas is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nox is surviving well by controlling Douglas's body position as best he can.
Douglas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Nox looks a forlorn figure.
Nox is trying to escape the mount.
BOOM! Douglas connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Douglas is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Nox is surviving well by controlling Douglas's body position as best he can.
Nox holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Douglas tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

BOOM! Douglas connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Douglas tries to control but Nox wriggling away.

Douglas jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nox manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Nox is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Douglas off and has taken his back!
Douglas turns into Nox and is now in his guard.
Nox tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Douglas sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nox's guard.
Douglas wants to control but Nox is keeping him busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Douglas is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Douglas seems to be working for a kimura but Nox defends the submission attempt.

Douglas is trying to control the action in half guard but Nox is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Nox keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Douglas staying out of range there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Douglas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nox looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Denzel Douglas dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hart Nox's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Douglas swings for the body but Nox moves out of range.
Nox connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Douglas here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Nox shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Douglas as he jumps to the side.
Nox waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Douglas.
Nox throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fighters circling - Nox throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A punch lands to the side of Nox 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Douglas stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nox walks into a jab.
Douglas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nox looks to score with a jab to the body but Douglas is just out of range.
Nox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Douglas's waist but Douglas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nox off to one side.
Douglas lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nox on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Nox is breathing heavily.
Douglas lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Douglas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nox can do to turn this around?
Douglas connects with a looping right hand.
The fight stays on the outside here - Douglas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nox takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Douglas rushes Nox with punches - Nox moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Nox goes down! Douglas follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
