Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thad Clarke (ranked 8655 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romeo Austin (ranked 7144 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Austin lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Clarke could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Austin looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Austin wants to control from the top but Clarke keeps moving.
Clarke is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Austin stays in close to Clarke's body and controls the position.
Austin throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clarke wants to stand but Austin is controlling the position.
Austin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Austin slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

And Austin responds with a good body kick, but Clarke manages to step out the way in time.

and Austin counters with a crisp one two that drops Clarke! Austin thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Clarke to his feet! Clarke is in big trouble!

Austin connects with a nice cross there... Clarke is looking wobbly and Austin recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Clarke to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Austin jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
