Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tayla Leech!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rafael Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson swings for the body but Leech moves out of range.
Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Leech, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Leech against the cage but Leech circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Leech swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Leech digs a good body shot into Johnson's ribs.
Leech has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.
Johnson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Leech lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Johnson backwards.
Leech lands a body shot.
Leech just leaning against Johnson, taking a breather.
Leech stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Johnson is looking to control Leech's arms but Leech gets an underhook and turns him. Now Johnson has his back to the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Leech scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Johnson jumps guard but Leech turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Johnson takes a shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Leech walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Tayla Leech has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Johnson.
Johnson looks winded!
Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Leech swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Leech feints a jab promting Johnson to slip. Leech then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Johnson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Johnson is rocked!
Johnson looks up at the clock. Bad move! Leech lands a right hand from hell, dropping Johnson. Leech pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tayla Leech!
Tayla Leech was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
