The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Booningham manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Whitney on his heels. He'll look to pass Whitney's guard now, I'm sure.

Whitney is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Booningham presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Whitney tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Booningham smiles and moves away.

Booningham fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Whitney to the ground. Booningham is now in Whitney's guard.

Whitney looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Booningham is defending well. Whitney quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Booningham has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Whitney celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
