Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Squiggy Squirrelly (ranked 8594 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Vardy (ranked 4189 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Squiggy Squirrelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Vardy!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squirrelly chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vardy can pounce on him.
Squirrelly bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vardy's head.
Vardy throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Vardy cracks Squirrelly with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Good leg kick by Vardy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Vardy throws a lazy head kick
and Squirrelly counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vardy misses the jab.
Vardy jabs Squirrelly to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Vardy misses with a double jab
and Squirrelly counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vardy throws a sloppy head kick and Squirrelly moves out of range easily.
Squirrelly throwing a counter right hand but Vardy manages to avoid it.
Vardy swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Squirrelly appears to be looking for a big counter.
Jamie Vardy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vardy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A jab from Squirrelly finds it's way through Vardy's defenses.
Squirrelly has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MMA All STAR'S in the buildup to the fight.
Vardy throws a head kick but Squirrelly moves out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Squirrelly misses the target.
Squirrelly is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice defenses there by Vardy.
Squirrelly backing away here, and Vardy unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Squirrelly throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vardy sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Vardy throws a counter combo.
Squirrelly drops Vardy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Vardy looks back up at him and smiles so Squirrelly waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Vardy is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick by Vardy misses
and Squirrelly counters with a crisp right that sends Vardy to the canvas! Squirrelly follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Squiggy Squirrelly!
