Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Yakovlev (ranked 3766 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duncan The Tall (ranked 3764 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakovlev comes to the cage accompanied by Maroon 5 - Sugar. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakovlev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from The Tall.
Yakovlev appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Yakovlev's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Yakovlev is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. The Tall is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. The Tall flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Yakovlev anticipates the leg and manages to get behind The Tall and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Yakovlev slips an arm under The Tall chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Yakovlev has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Yakovlev is squeezing on The Tall like an anaconda would it's prey. The Tall fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Alexander Yakovlev decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
