Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Silva Jr (ranked 1741 p4p, 188 weight class) and Frank Granger (ranked 1994 p4p, 218 weight class). Silva Jr comes to the cage accompanied by Sleeping Giant. Granger has chosen Primal Concrete Sledge as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rich Silva Jr has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Silva Jr. Granger does a little dance to reset his feet.
Granger takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Silva Jr moves out of range of the body kick.

Granger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva Jr tries to avoid it but Granger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva Jr to the ground. Silva Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rich Silva Jr seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Frank Granger was interviewed post fight and said 'This is a momentary setback; a stinging defeat, but I will recover from it. A true warrior's strength is not how well he overcomes his foes, it's how well he deals with setbacks, obstacles, and adversity. I will rise again!'.
