Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Avraham Avinu (ranked 6940 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waleed Dheeb (ranked 3915 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avinu goes for a double leg but Dheeb avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dheeb continues to drive forward.
Dheeb is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Dheeb stuffs the takedown.
Dheeb tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Avinu swivels and escapes.
Avinu seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Dheeb shoots in and bounces Avinu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Avinu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dheeb drops back looking for a leg! Avinu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Avinu manages to kick Dheeb off! Dheeb jumps back into Avinu's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dheeb is pushing down on Avinu's leg trying to pass to half guard. Avinu is fighting to maintain full guard but Dheeb has managed to sneak the leg through.

Dheeb is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Avinu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dheeb.

Avinu is concentrating on defense, preventing Dheeb from advancing position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dheeb shoots for a takedown but Avinu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Dheeb gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Avinu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dheeb on the ground.
Dheeb lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Dheeb keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Avinu's head.
Dheeb cracks Avinu with a solid left hand.
Dheeb stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Avinu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Avinu keeping moving, preventing Dheeb from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Waleed Dheeb dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Avinu dives in and grabs Dheeb's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dheeb pushes down on Avinu's head and hops out.
Avinu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dheeb lands a nice short elbow.

Dheeb thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Avinu's head.

Avinu is rocked!
Dheeb seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Oh Avinu is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dheeb is taking a breather. Avinu says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dheeb lands a big elbow - Avinu is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Dheeb!
