The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beau clinches up against the cage.
Beau throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rushs head.
It looks like Ronny Rush has been cut.
Beau drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rush pulls his leg out and moves away.
Beau scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Beau is keen to just control but Rush is a slippery customer.
Beau stalling away here and it's allowed Rush to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Beau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
