Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Azn misses with a jab to the body
and Yaqhar counters with a two punch combo.
Azn is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Yaqhar is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Azn gets the takedown into side control.
Yaqhar throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Azn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yaqhar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yaqhar stuffs the takedown.
Azn takes a swing at Yaqhar's ribcage but misses.
Yaqhar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Azn to the mat! Azn manages to get full guard.

Yaqhar stands up over Azn, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Yaqhar is working Azn over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Yaqhar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Azn wants to control but Yaqhar passes easily into half guard.
Yaqhar is trying to work for a kimura but Azn is defending well.

Azn wants to get back to full guard but Yaqhar has passed into side control.
Yaqhar works to advance to full mount. Azn defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Yaqhar gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Yaqhar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Yaqhar swats away the attempt to clinch by Azn.
Azn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Yaqhar counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Azn has closed the distance and engaged Yaqhar in a clinch.
Azn wants to break free but Yaqhar has control.
Azn is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Yaqhar pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Azn is trying to pull guard but Yaqhar turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Yaqhar has hold of one of Azn's legs. Azn is fighting the takedown attempt but Yaqhar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Azn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yaqhar is one step ahead there.
Yaqhar won't allow Azn to get back to his feet.

Azn is looking for a triangle but Yaqhar pushes his legs off easily.

Yaqhar is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Azn is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Azn has escaped and now he's on top!

Despite the aggression on Yaqhar's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Yaqhar pulls Azn into guard.
Yaqhar is controlling Azn's posture.
Alik Yaqhar has got the better of the ground game so far.
Azn content to stall in guard here.
Azn trying to control the position from guard on top but Yaqhar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Azn wants to stand and escape but instead Yaqhar has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Azn pulls Yaqhar in close to his closed guard and prevents Yaqhar from doing any damage or advancing position.

Azn wants to stand but Yaqhar is controlling the position.
Yaqhar connects with a couple of short punches.
Azn is trying to push Yaqhar off with his feet but Yaqhar grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Azn's ankles and Azn is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!
