Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Harris (ranked 25277 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reggie Rozay (ranked 5876 p4p, 504 weight class). Reggie Rozay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Teddy Harris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Reggie Rozay!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rozay misses with a takedown attempt - Harris sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rozay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harris but Harris pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Harris throws a big counter combination but Rozay scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Rozay instigates a clinch.

Harris pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harris trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rozay with a flurry of punches that miss.

Harris throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rozay escapes and throws Harris's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Harris can't do much from the bottom here.

Harris is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Rozay content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Rozay throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Harris is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Harris is trying to control Rozay's posture but Rozay avoids it.
Harris is looking for a sweep.

Rozay decides to stand back up.
Rozay throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rozay closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Harris successfully pulls guard.
Rozay trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Harris had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rozay defends it easily.
Rozay throws a big elbow that misses.
Harris is looking to stand up but Rozay isn't so interested in that idea.
Rozay trying to control the position from guard on top but Harris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Harris is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rozay defends well.
Harris pulls Rozay in close to prevent any damage.
Harris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rozay decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Harris, up you get!
Rozay goes for a double leg but Harris avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Harris continues to drive forward.
Harris is looking for a counter combo.
Teddy Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reggie Rozay.
Rozay tried to score with a low kick but Harris checks it.
Harris tries to clinch up but Rozay circles away and keeps his distance.
Rozay shoots in looking for a takedown. Harris tries to sprawl out of it but Rozay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harris manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Harris seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Rozay cracks a nice hook into Harris's ribs.

Harris tries to keep at a distance but Rozay has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rozay has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Harris uses from the top position.
Rozay wants to sweep here but Harris controlling him for the moment.
Rozay is still trying to improve position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Harris connects with a couple of short punches.

Harris stuffs the takedown attempt from Rozay. Rozay gets slowly back to his feet.

You can see the frustration on Harris's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Rozay stands up and beckons Harris to his feet.

Harris tries to keep at a distance but Rozay has taken the fight into the clinch.

Harris escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Rozay clinches.
Rozay is trying to drag Harris to the mat but Harris just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Harris pulls Rozay into guard.
Harris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rozay in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Rozay tries to free his leg and advance position but Harris is retaining full guard.

Harris looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rozay has picked Harris up and slammed him! Harris can't keep hold of the triangle and Rozay manages to pass to side control!
Harris regains half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rozay in particular looking to stall.

Rozay wants to stand up but Harris has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Rozay is breathing heavily.
Harris is positioning himself well to prevent Rozay advancing to mount.
Harris is staying active underneath Rozay, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Rozay is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Harris is controlling Rozay's trapped leg to prevent Rozay from advancing to side control.
Rozay thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are battling for position here. Harris manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rozay slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Harris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rozay doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rozay manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's time! Harris's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

It looked like Harris was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Rozay shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harris but Harris pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rozay. Harris does a little dance to reset his feet.

Harris ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Harris no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Harris keeping moving, preventing Rozay from controlling successfully.
Rozay is looking to work some ground and pound but Harris has wrist control.

Rozay stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Rozay fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Harris pushes Rozay up against the cage in a clinch.

Harris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rozay walks away with a smile on his face. Harris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rozay throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Harris throws a counter high kick but Rozay was just alert enough to avoid it.
Harris stuffs the takedown.
Rozay fails with the takedown
and Harris finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Harris misses with a kick to the body.
Nice sprawl there from Harris as Rozay shoots in.
Harris appears to be looking for a big counter.
Harris throws a head kick that misses.
Rozay throws a hook to the side of Harris's head but Harris sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Harris buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Rozay rushes Harris and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Harris tries to pull guard but Rozay won't allow it.
Rozay drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Harris jumps guard and drags Rozay to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Harris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rozay gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Harris is adopting a defensive guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that's the end of the fight!
Teddy Harris showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Rozay has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
