Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dillon Weber (ranked 25360 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Murphy (ranked 5814 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Weber manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Weber looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Murphy moves in looking to clinch but Weber pushes him off.
A little feinted left hand from Weber on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Dillon Weber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weber avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Murphy has taken the fight to the clinch.
Weber definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Weber using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Murphy has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Weber throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shane Murphy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
