Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Wiggins (ranked 6696 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iman Rivera (ranked 5669 p4p, 0 weight class). Iman Rivera will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Wiggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Iman Rivera!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera looks to land a body kick but Wiggins moved away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wiggins or perhaps it was just good defense by Rivera, which made it look bad.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wiggins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rivera throws a lazy body kick

and Wiggins moves into the clinch.
Wiggins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rivera has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wiggins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wiggins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Wiggins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rivera manages to get himself to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rivera takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Can Rivera hold on?! Wiggins is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Wiggins is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
