Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timothy McGee (ranked 6445 p4p, 673 weight class) and Jan Urzu (ranked 21077 p4p, 805 weight class). McGee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Invaders must die - The prodigy. Timothy McGee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Timothy McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Urzu!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Urzu scores with a three punch combo!
Urzu defending well as McGee loads up on a big left hand.
McGee scores with a crisp jab that stopped Urzu in his tracks.
McGee scores with a decent looking hook.
McGee stalks Urzu and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Urzu's face. Urzu staggers backwards, shaken.
Urzu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Urzu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McGee swivels and escapes.
McGee was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Urzu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and McGee connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Urzu scrambles back to his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. McGee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.


Urzu is rocked!


It looks like Jan Urzu has been cut.
Urzu tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McGee defends well and Urzu ends up having to push McGee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Urzu is still on wobbly legs! Can McGee finish him?
Urzu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has McGee pinned against the cage. McGee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Urzu seems to have recovered his senses.
Timothy McGee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Urzu.
Urzu takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGee throws a nice outside leg kick.
Urzu tries to score a power double leg takedown but McGee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Urzu somewhat.
McGee throws a big counter combination but Urzu scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
McGee jabs at Urzu's body.
McGee throws a leg kick which misses Urzu's front leg but catches the back leg as Urzu tries to avoid it.

McGee cracks the inside of Urzu's front leg.
McGee lands a jab to the nose.
McGee cracks Urzu with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
McGee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Urzu looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Urzu fails with the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Urzu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McGee.
McGee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McGee wants it to stay on the feet.
A nice combination there by McGee.
Urzu takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
McGee is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
McGee scores with a jab.
Urzu shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McGee defends it nicely.
Urzu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McGee was well out of range. Poor timing from Urzu.
McGee tests Urzu's chin there with a solid looking shot.
McGee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
McGee is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
McGee scores with a jab.
Urzu fails with the takedown.
McGee tried to counter with a leg kick but Urzu avoided it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McGee lands with a straight right. Urzu didn't see that one coming.
Urzu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McGee.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by McGee.
McGee turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McGee throws a right and a left that Urzu avoids nicely.
Urzu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Urzu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McGee avoids it really well and circles away.
Urzu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like McGee has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Urzu shoots in but no luck this time.
McGee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Urzu fails with the takedown.
A big right from McGee misses.
McGee misses with a looping right.
Urzu darts in looking for a takedown but McGee gets double underhooks and turns Urzu into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
McGee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McGee connects with a body shot.
McGee throws a leg kick which misses Urzu's front leg but catches the back leg as Urzu tries to avoid it.
Urzu misses with a takedown attempt - McGee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
McGee jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McGee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Urzu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Timothy McGee dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jan Urzu's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


McGee smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Urzu fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from McGee. No joy for Urzu on that attempt.
McGee connects with a good right hand that stumbles Urzu. Urzu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
McGee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
McGee throws a body punch but Urzu moves out of range.

Nice combo by McGee! Oh, that's hurt him - Urzu falls to the canvas and McGee follows him into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd goes nuts as McGee knocks Urzu out cold with a massive hammerfist! McGee Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Timothy McGee!
