Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sean Patrick Flanery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flanery comes to the ring accompanied by Dropkick Murphys - Shipping up to boston. Lopez has chosen Music as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooh a lovely combination from Flanery sends Lopez down but not out. Flanery dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Javier Lopez has been cut.

Flanery decides to stand back up. Flanery steps back and let's Lopez get back to his feet.
Flanery shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Flanery feints and as Lopez raises his hands in defense, Flanery changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Flanery tries to close the distance and clinch but Lopez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Flanery rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lopez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Flanery has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lopez to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Flanery is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lopez pulls down on the head and he's put Flanery to sleep! This one is all over!
