Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keast Kannegaard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diaz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to National Anthem. On his way into the ring it seems that Mike Diaz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mike Diaz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kannegaard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diaz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kannegaard throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Diaz takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Diaz dodges the punch combination from Kannegaard.
Diaz tries to clinch there but Kannegaard circles away.
Diaz slips a jab and a cross from Kannegaard.

Kannegaard takes a kick to the side of the head.

Diaz shoots in for a double leg but Kannegaard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Diaz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diaz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Diaz is breathing heavily.
Kannegaard pushes Diaz away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Diaz gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Kannegaard wants to control but Diaz postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Keast Kannegaard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Diaz seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Kannegaard shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Diaz is backing up but Kannegaard catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Diaz covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Kannegaard Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Keast Kannegaard!
