Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bronze shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Bronze controlling the action here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bronze pulls his head out easily.
Jones tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Bronze has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Bronze with the ground and pound from mount.
Bronze wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely.
Jones could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bronze manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jones to take his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones manages to escape to his feet.
Jones fails with the takedown.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bronze defends well and Jones ends up having to push Bronze into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bronze sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bronze has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jones is on him like a limpet, forcing Bronze back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bronze gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Jones regains guard.
Bronze sitting in guard here, content to control.
Bronze with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Bronze pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Bronze content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bronze is looking to take a break and control but Jones is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bronze is looking to advance position but Jones won't allow it.
Jones is trying to get back to full guard.
Bronze looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jones taking some punishment here, with Bronze in his half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bronze works his foot free and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Devin Bronze dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bronze throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bronze misses with a kick to the body

and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. Bronze fights it but they end up in guard.

Bronze uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Bronze tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Bronze fails to pull guard.
Bronze gets underhooks to prevent Jones's takedown attempt.
Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bronze after a bit of a struggle.
A frustrated look appears on Jones's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bronze blocks the elbow strike.
Jones wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lynwood Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bronze is pressed up against the cage. Jones has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bronze down to the mat. Bronze avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bronze lands with a slapping head kick.


It looks like Lynwood Jones has been cut.
Bronze lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jones's sensitive parts.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones gets caught flat footed, as Bronze shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jones is wriggling around but Bronze manages to pass to half guard.
Bronze has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bronze lands a nice short elbow.
Bronze has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bronze lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jones hang on?


Jones is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Bronze's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Devin Bronze!
