Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vilkas Nuutti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Preacher!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuutti fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A good leg kick by Nuutti.
Nuutti scoring well with a low kick there.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nuutti.
Preacher shoots in but no luck this time.
Preacher takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A head kick by Nuutti misses
and Preacher counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Preacher works over Nuutti with some ground and pound from guard.
Nuutti has momentary wrist control but Preacher slips an elbow through the middle.
Preacher drops back looking for a leg! Nuutti is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nuutti manages to kick Preacher off! Preacher jumps back into Nuutti's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Preacher throwing strikes but missing.
Preacher wants to control from the top but Nuutti keeps moving.
Nuutti keeping full guard, as Preacher tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nuutti keeping moving, preventing Preacher from controlling successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Preacher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nuutti looking to control.
Preacher stands up and waves to Nuutti to follow him.
Nuutti lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Preacher misses with a takedown attempt - Nuutti sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nuutti thinks about countering with a head kick.
Nuutti lands a big head kick that sends Preacher tumbling to the mat! Nuutti takes a step backwards and waves Preacher back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Preacher is rocked!
It looks like Jack Preacher has been cut.
Nuutti wobbles Preacher with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Nuutti dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Preacher to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
